SYDNEY, Feb 13 AAP - A sprawling $6.5 million Byron Bay mansion could be the ultimatepiece of memorabilia for a wealthy fan of larrikin Australian actor Paul Hogan.

Situated on 132 hectares of land at Possum Creek, just outside Byron Bay, Cedar Springshit the market following Hogan's decision to relocate to Sydney with his wife and formerco-star Linda Kozlowski and their two-year-old son, Chance.

The Mediterranean-style mansion is built around a swimming pool, and features a billiardroom, gymnasium, his-and-her custom fitted dressing rooms and bathrooms, a guest wing,a roof terrace and a conservatory.

The grounds, complete with a rainforest, a timber plantation and rose garden, are hometo bush turkey, owls, wallabies, goannas and black cockatoos.

The river that flows through the property is stocked with mullet, bass and perch.

The property comes complete with a manager and three other residences, real estateagents from Christies Prestige Properties and Barron & Dowling said.

"The vendor has expectations of around $6.5 million as a walk-in property, and werehopeful of finding a buyer who will appreciate this magnificent estate," Mr Barron said.

"Paul and Linda love Cedar Springs and the area around Byron Bay but they realise thatit is impractical to retain such a vast estate when they need to be based in Sydney,"
